Ricard Martinez

Cultivation Coordinator
Ricard is part of the Cultivation team. As a Cultivation Coordinator he directly supports entrepreneurs by strengthening their business models, commercial strategy, finance structure and their social and environmental impact. He studied Business Administration at ESADE Business School in Barcelona. After university he worked in the Audit and Financial Advisory departments of Deloitte for 3 years and a half. During that period he obtained a master in Financial Management with the UPF Barcelona School of Management. Motivated by the idea of using his experience to support projects in contexts where emergency humanitarian response was needed, he worked in Tunisia (for Libya) and Jordan (for Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Libya) as a financer officer. He has also developed his international experience through volunteering in social and development projects (Tanzania, Nepal, Argentina and Greece).

What inspires him?
Working on projects where I can provide the maximum added value in order to have a positive impact in different communities and ecosystems. I enjoy working in multicultural environments and with multidisciplinary teams.

He is passionate about sports, nature and music. He ascended Illimani in 1 day (6.438m).
