Manuel Berrios

Entrepreneur Support Officer
Manuel is part of the MELI team as Entrepreneur Support Officer, his main function being the identification and presentation of new entrepreneurs through the construction, development and execution of actions and initiatives to attract innovative and impactful business, generating a long-term relationship with the Alterna Tribe. Manuel has a International Relations degree, graduated from Universidad Rafael Landivar. Professionally, he has worked in international trade and business, identifying, analyzing, and prospecting potential clients to encourage commercial promotion at the national and international level in the export sector of Guatemala. Additionally, he has 4 years of experience in teaching university courses at the Political and Social Sciences Faculty; he also provides specialized technical advice on research topics in final degree projects. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, participating in tournaments, and enjoying a good coffee with excellent company. He also enjoys taking care of his classic cars.

What inspires him?
He's inspired by his 100-year-old grandfather who throughout his career as a doctor, and to date, has focused on helping others and contributing to the construction of a better Guatemala.

Curious fact:
He taught tennis to two young people with autism for three years.
