Mariana Grazioso

Cultivation Assistant
Mariana identifies and selects entrepreneurs that seek social impact and supports them through individual and group sessions. She also helps to establish and polish the selection methodology for entrepreneurs that will be financed in order to have an inclusive and dynamic portfolio of small enterprises on their growing stage. Mariana studied Communication and Literature at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, which has lead her to work in institutions such as Santillana and Siglo 21, in areas of edition, creative writing, journalism, and photography. Also, she has collaborated in several cultural programs in Guatemala and the United States, developing skills in logistics that are helpful in the planification and implementation of different programs of Ruta Alterna. Mariana loves music, photography, and writing. She is part of a choir that has performed in different festivals in Guatemala and Mexico. She is the author of four short stories for children, published by Santillana.

What inspires her?
Justice, rain, and the unbreakable and inexplicable strength that comes out of every human being when they do what they must, and what they love.
