Claudia Fernanda Díaz
Senior Manager of Cultivation
Originally from Bogotá, Fernanda grew up in a family of dairy entrepreneurs. Her education in business administration and finance, plus her experience in the field, has led her to understand that building a business involves; in addition to risks; passion, dedication and strategic vision of what is being developed.
As a consultant, the expansion of a Shopping Center in the Zona Viva of Guatemala City, the commercialization of energy from a hydroelectric plant and the business strategy of a solar generation park, are an example of the dreams of businessmen and entrepreneurs that Fernanda advised and helped make it happen.
At the corporate level, it contributed to business growth, actively participated in the change of strategy, product and service in capital intensive business units for Corporación Multi Inversiones and Cementos Progreso.
Fernanda has been part of multicultural teams in Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico and El Salvador and in sectors such as financial services, technology, energy and real estate development.
At Alterna and with the Group Cultivation team, he manages inclusive and impact entrepreneurship projects that seek tangible opportunities by transforming critical gaps in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
What inspires her?
her child and family, true unconditional and unlimited love.
She writes poetry. She likes avant-garde poetry. Her favorite poem is Another Heaven by Mario Benedetti.
