Beatriz Guillén

Beatriz is the Executive Director of The Resource Foundation. She has over 15 years of experience in international development and strategic philanthropy, liaising with the private sector, entrepreneurs, NGOs, academia, and governments.

She was responsible for launching the Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Global Leadership, a graduate degree for senior leaders in global policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).

Prior to her role at Columbia University, Beatriz worked regionally at CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean- for ten years, where she co-founded its Social Innovation Office.

 Beatriz is a 92Y Women inPower fellow, a BMW Foundation’s Responsible Leader, and serves as a board member for two nonprofit organizations: MENTEE and ALTERNA.
